Supervise pipeline construction activities, ensure compliance with specifications, coordinate stakeholders, and monitor progress while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

**Construction Management**
* Supervise day\-to\-day pipeline construction activities.
* Ensure compliance with PDO specifications, project drawings, AFC documents, and approved method statements.
* Prepare the Pipeline construction documents as per PDO/Client requirements.
* Coordinate with the client, consultant, subcontractors, and internal departments.
* Monitor construction progress against the approved schedule.
* Plan daily work activities and allocate manpower and equipment.
* Ensure optimum utilization of construction resources.
**Pipeline Construction Activities**
* Route survey and site verification.
* Right\-of\-Way (ROW) preparation.
* Trenching and excavation.
* Stringing of pipes.
* Pipe handling and transportation.
* Pipe bending (hot/cold as applicable).
* Fit\-up and welding coordination.
* NDT coordination and monitoring.
* Joint coating and field coating.
* Lowering\-in activities.
* Padding and backfilling.
* Installation of warning tape and marker posts.
* Road, wadi, and utility crossings.
* Tie\-ins and hot tapping coordination.
* Hydrotesting and drying.
* Pigging and cleaning operations.
* Mechanical completion and reinstatement works.
**HSE Responsibilities**
* Ensure full compliance with PDO HSE Management System.
* Promote a strong safety culture across the project.
* Participate in Toolbox Talks and Daily HSE Meetings.
* Conduct site inspections and hazard identification.
* Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) requirements.
* Verify implementation of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessments.
* Stop any unsafe work and report HSE concerns immediately.
* Ensure proper use of PPE by all personnel.
**Quality Responsibilities**
* Ensure work complies with approved ITPs and Quality Plans.
* Coordinate inspections with PDO representatives.
* Verify materials before installation.
* Ensure welding and coating activities meet project specifications.
* Review NDT reports.
* Monitor punch list clearance.
* Maintain construction quality records.
* Support preparation of Mechanical Completion dossiers.
**Planning \& Progress Monitoring**
* Guide the planning team in the Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
* Monitor productivity of manpower and equipment.
* Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation measures.
* Coordinate shutdown and tie\-in activities.
* Support project planning and forecasting.
**Coordination**
* Coordinate with:
* PDO Site Representatives
* Construction Manager
* Project Manager
* QA/QC Engineers
* HSE Team
* Survey Team
* Welding Engineers
* Material Controllers
* Logistics Team
* Subcontractors
**Material Management**
* Verify receipt of construction materials.
* Monitor material consumption.
* Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams.
* Ensure traceability of pipes and fittings.
* Report material shortages and damages.
**Documentation**
* Daily Progress Reports.
* Daily Site Diary.
* Inspection Requests (IRs).
* Material Requisitions.
* Site Instructions.
* Method Statements.
* As\-built markups.
* Red\-line drawings.
* Punch List Reports.
* Mechanical Completion documentation.
**Required Qualifications**
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
* Minimum **8–15 years** of pipeline construction experience in the oil and gas industry.
* Minimum **5 years** of experience on PDO or equivalent GCC oil \& gas projects.
* Good knowledge of PDO Engineering Specifications and Construction Standards.
* In addition to the PDO Specification, he has to be familiar with international codes such as:
* ASME B31\.4
* ASME B31\.8
* ASME Section IX
* API 1104
* API 5L
* ISO 9001
* ISO 45001
* ISO 14001
